Meetings will start on 26th June to negotiate the options available for those facing TUPE transfer. The majority of our members have told us that they wish to remain employed by BA, so we will be fighting hard to get substitutional severance and redeployment. We will also do everything we can to get the best severance package possible for those who may be thinking of leaving.
At the same time, we will continue to submit alternative plans to avoid outsourcing up until the last minute.
We have reminded the company many of our colleagues from accross BA are watching what is happening at LGW and we expect them to deal with our members fairly and recognise their years of loyal service and flexibility when negotiating options with us.
