We know that many of you are facing considerable worry at this time. The announcement that BA have suspended operations from Gatwick will have only added to your concern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We wanted to let you know that GMB are in continued negotiations with BA concerning the governments ‘Job Retention Scheme’, please be assured that we are doing all we can to get the best deal for our members. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The government’s JRS underwrites up to 80% of employees wages whilst you are ‘furloughed’ – this means being stood down from your duties for a period of time. The government scheme is forming the basis for our discussions with BA. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As soon as we can we will be sharing much more detailed advice with you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
